Who we are
Wolfmother Consulting Inc. is a federally incorporated Canadian company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We provide operations and systems consulting.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through wolfmother.consulting, why we collect it, where it goes, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect
When you submit a form. Our forms ask for your name, email address, company name, and details about your situation. Some forms ask for a phone number, company website, your role, business location, industry, headcount, revenue range, and timeline. You choose what to tell us. Only the fields marked required are required.
When you email or call us. Whatever is in the message, plus your email address or phone number.
When you visit the site. Our hosting and security providers log standard technical information, including IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of visit. This is used to keep the site running and to protect it from abuse.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, or health information.
Why we collect it
- To read and respond to your enquiry
- To assess whether there is a fit for the work you are asking about
- To deliver work you have engaged us for
- To keep records of who we have spoken to and what was discussed
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you submitted an enquiry.
Text messages
If you check the consent box on one of our forms, we may text you about your enquiry. Message frequency varies and standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or text HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of doing business with us.
Where your information goes
We use third-party services to run our business. Your information is held by these providers on our behalf:

Cross-border transfer. These providers are based in or route data through the United States. That means your information may be stored or processed outside Canada, and while it is there it may be accessible to foreign courts, law enforcement or regulatory authorities under the laws of that country. By submitting information through this site, you understand this is the case.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it with a third party only where that party is providing a service to us, where you have asked us to, or where we are legally required to.
Subcontractors
Some engagements are delivered with specialist subcontractors. Where a subcontractor needs your information to do the work, we share only what is necessary and they are bound to use it only for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work. Kept for 24 months, then deleted.
Client records. For the duration of the engagement and for seven years afterward, to meet Canadian accounting and tax record-keeping requirements.
Technical logs. Retained by our providers according to their own schedules.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See below.
How we protect it
Access to our systems is restricted to people who need it and protected by strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication. Data is encrypted in transit. We keep the amount of personal information we hold to what we actually need.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete what we hold, subject to any records we are legally required to keep
- Withdraw consent to being contacted, at any time
Email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days, which is the period set out in Canadian privacy law.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy question, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca, or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia at oipc.bc.ca.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by our hosting and security providers. These keep the site working and protect it from automated abuse.

Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
